Hope For Hannah
I wanted to become a speaker. When there was a Speech Meet, I instantly joined. I spoke, but I didn't make it in. A few weeks later, Nick Vujicic was speaking at Spirit West Coast. God told me there that I could still become a speaker, but I needed to speak for what He wanted me to. Now I want to be a missionary, and sing and speak for the Lord.

Nick reminded me ‘don't ever give up.’ Each life is precious, because each is Gods, even broken ones. God will fix that brokenness, if you let Him. He says "I know it hurts. But I’m going to take that pain, use it to make you stronger. Strong enough so you can take that pain, and use it to make others stronger. Give them hope, let them know I love them, like I love you. The car accident that changed my life
I was a Christian from a young age, but God really cemented my faith in Him when I was in a serious car accident at age 9. The injuries due to the accident were extensive, and though the Lord chose to heal most of me, He chose for my right eye to not be fully healed. I've had 2 surgeries to help my eye, and while it’s better than it was, it's still not perfect. God chose to show His power through the weakness of my eye- though I am weak, He is strong.

Living with a passion for Souls
Nick you inspire me to live for Heaven. You help me to get up and keep walking even when things get hard. I was diagnosed with Sinus cancer when I was 18. I am in remission now, thank God, but I still have trouble eating and talking. “Epiphany”
When Nick shows them all the things he can do, their previous ideas are proved wrong. They start to realize they have to re-think where the limits actually lie. Seems to me that the real limits are in their minds. Not everyone has heard about Nick. I hope that people who look at what Nick can do will open their minds. I have not limited myself, but other people limit me in their thinking. Most people view me as not normal, not capable. When I tell people that I can do almost anything, they doubt it and think, “She can’t do this, she can’t do that”. I can see it in their eyes and by how they respond.

Melted
I recently came across Nick Vujicic via Christian Surfers UK, and was touched by his story. I haven't had the easiest of lives myself; I was abused by my mentally ill mother as a child. It was never easy one at times I felt like giving up, but God gave me the strength to carry on, as a result of these trials my father actually dedicated his life to Christ by becoming a minister. God will catch you
I was seeking reasons to avoid God. I wasn't close to Him. But in one day everything changed. I was away for the weekend; on my way home I went on a cable slide, where there were rocks underneath. As I went down, the handlebars got stuck and threw me into rocks, head first. I was bleeding and then someone found me. He took me up to the office and at that moment, my dad was passing through, he rushed me to the hospital, where I was in a coma, when I woke up, I found out that if I wasn't found, I would have died.

My miracle children

That Close to the Edge
An E-mail from my mother containing a video saved my life, and she never had any idea. I rarely find the time to check my email account, with school and research taking up most of my time on the computer. Despite the fact that for some reason I never seem to respond, my mother finds time to send me every inspirational story or anecdote she can find, Email being the one facet of modern technology that she fully understands. She does not know that I had been having suicidal thoughts, that instead of sleeping at night I’d cry, or lay awake and stare at the ceiling fan and wonder why I couldn't get through this. She had no idea that I had thrown away the pocket knife and pain medication I kept in my dorm for fear that I'd finally go over the edge and end it all. So tonight being so sick I managed with God by my side to get out of bed and get half way looking presentable for the public and went to my church(Calvary Chapel). As I was parking the car I thought I saw my friends car whom does not attend my church. So as I went in to find a seat, being that I go to this church I went directly to the front where I sit each and every Sunday morning, however the first two rows were reserved for the hairing impaired and my alternate seat had a reserved sign on it as well, so I sat on the end of the second row. I kept standing up looking for my friend Barb but did not see her.

Blessed be His name
Oct 2007 I discovered a wound in my womb. I had put bandaid after bandaid on it but it wouldn't heal. I cried every night I struggled through the day in pain and shame. See when I was 17 I had an abortion. When I was 26 I had another abortion. Nobody told me that it would hurt me this much. Nobody told me that my babies would die. I didn't get it. I didn't understand. It was just an hour appointment. I went on with my life. I didn't know I was so wounded until Oct 2007. Through the love and compassion of other women I was able to allow God to come into my womb heal this awful wound from the inside out. He took the anger the shame the gut renching pain, He took it all from me. He left me with a joy that I never knew was available. He called me to help other women just like me find the Love of Jesus Christ and heal their bodies. Thank you Nick for saying yes when God called you.

My approach to witnessing in the business world - without being pushy
I started to take your DVD along in my briefcase on all of my business appointments. Instead of saying, "I've got a video about Jesus I want you to see", which puts people back on their heels, instead, while shuffling through folders and documents; I casually placed your DVD in plain view on the table for a few seconds. Comforting the hurts and hearts of children
This morning I walked in to my office and began to cry. 20 years of giving comfort to women and children, and today I didn’t know what to do next. You see. God placed me in and out of hospitals for nine years of my young adult life. It was there where I would see children who were ill with no family. Max and the Miracle

Losing my leg, Gaining my life

By the grace of God I am alive today. 7 years ago I was sitting in front of a grocery store waiting for a ride and I was hit by an SUV and thrown through the plate glass window of the store. In the midst of a storm
When I was fourteen years old, in September of 2004, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor called a Craniopharyngioma. Six days after I was diagnosed, I was in surgery, having it removed. The doctors were able to remove eighty percent of the tumor. Two months later, I received radiation treatments at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis for six weeks straight through Thanksgiving and Christmas. I left all my friends and family behind in Oregon except for my mom; she came with me. My family and I live in Oregon and many people ask us why we chose a hospital so far from home. God lead us there we tell them.

I am an overcomer too!
