We rejoice as the Lord continues to open up many new and exciting opportunities for Nick to share his inspirational story and experiences with people from every walk of life. He loves to encourage everyone he encounters with the real and satisfying hope he's found in Christ Jesus and His Word.

Church or Ministry Conferences:

To inspire fellow Christians, Nick gives a powerful testimony of how God's grace and reliance on scripture has helped him overcome his disability. As Nick shares from this vantage point, it allows people to more clearly see their purpose through God's eyes. He reveals how he believes his so-called birth-defect is not a tragedy, but rather an instrument to serve the glory of God. (See John 9:3)

While speaking, Nick deals with topics like overcoming fear and rejection, suffering, unanswered prayers, reaching the lost and forgotten in our society, and mediocre Christianity. He's also highly in-tune with topics that deal with youth as that is one of the great passions on Nick's heart.

Since Nick has been speaking for a number of years, he's very comfortable working with churches to integrate his message with whatever current theme is being emphasized. Also, whenever possible, he encourages churches to use his message of the Love of God to heal, forgive and find purpose as an outreach to their community. He does this in order to highlight the power of Christ to bring lasting transformation, which is an everlasting investment, versus what the world has to offer, which is temporary and ultimately empty.

Schools:

Nick has spoken to children as young as five about knowing that we are all special, discusses strategies to deal with bullying and teaches them how to better relate to those with disabilities. His presentations are all tailored for the maturity level of the students and he has a gift that enables him to make everyone comfortable and participate with excitement within minutes.

To the older students, Nick emphasizes self-esteem issues and challenges the students to dream BIG, calling their attention to living a more purpose-filled life! Students are captivated by the many things he's taught himself to do, in spite of his disability. But, above all, they are disarmed by his wonderful sense of humor that puts them at ease, as well as his refreshing perspective on life.

Witnessing Nick's impact on these young lives in such a way that they will never forget is a real privilege. Teachers are often stunned as they see the trouble-makers of the school come up for a hug, some on the verge of tears. He also reassures them that there is hope and potential in their lives and urges them to never, ever give up. Nick will also address the important issues of peer pressure, which can lead to experimental drug and alcohol usage, smoking and sexual activity.
