As we press on into 2023, we have two key focal points for event outreach: ministering to the broken and discipling new believers. Our goal is to meet people right where they are and share a message of resiliency, faith, hope, and love. We believe that these two focal points will enable us to make a significant impact in the lives of those we encounter, and we’re excited to announce that God is already doing great things!
LifeChurch in Coppell, TX
While this February consisted of seven services in four states, we want to highlight two very fruitful events. For the first event Nick had the opportunity to speak at LifeChurch in Coppell, Texas. The theme of his message was based on Jeremiah 29:11, ‘A Hope for Your Future.’ The first night was a youth night, and we were thrilled to have 510 attendees. We were even more excited to witness 101 salvations that evening! We could sense the Spirit of God moving in the hearts of these young people, and we were honored to be a part of their spiritual journey.
The next night, we encountered a small but wonderful dilemma. Due to an abundance of Spanish speaking attendees, we ran out of headsets for translation! We quickly switched to live translation for the message and we were so blessed and thankful to see many hearts touched and lives changed
Then came Sunday morning. With two services, one in English and one in Spanish, the total attendance was 2,599… with 233 salvations! Praise God for the good work He is doing these days!
Nick shares a special word of encouragement with attendees after the event at LifeChurch.
Canyon Hills in Bakersfield, CA
The second event provided a special moment when Nick and the team went to speak to a congregation connected to Nick’s late Uncle Batta, at Canyon Hills Church in Bakersfield, California. Amidst the chaos of a winter storm that left Southern California buried in feet of snow, the team set out—and despite the treacherous weather conditions, the Lord provided safe travel, allowing Nick to deliver an impactful message to the church, with the theme, ‘The Greater the Struggle, the More Glorious the Triumph.’
From the friendly and tentative staff to the engaged audience and overwhelming altar call, our time at Canyon Hills was a great glimpse into the body of Christ coming together to bring hope to the lost and hurting. While over 200 people participated in the altar call, the sweet and intimate time with Canyon Hill’s Champions Club was a treasured experience. Champions Club is the special needs ministry of Canyon Hills, specializing in ministering to kids, teens, and adults with special needs. After the service Nick spent time interacting and praying over families and their children.
