General - How To Hear God's Voice...

Nick Vujicic clarifies how to listen to God for direction from God. The older I get, the more I realize how much I don't know. I consider myself to be fairly intelligent and I was a good school student through elementary, high school, college, graduated with the Bachelor's Degree, and went onto launch a nonprofit and a couple businesses on the side. I still continue to learn and study. But the funny thing here is that all that learning and knowledge, the more I learn, the more I understand how much more I need to learn. I don't think I'm alone in this. Don't we all want to know more? We want to know how to have healthy, loving relationships. Maybe we are trying to learn how to be better parents. Perhaps we're trying to figure out how to get a handle on finances. I think all of us want to know what is around the corner and waiting for us in the future. It's why people look at horoscopes or visit palm readers. (That might be difficult for me!--) or study dreams. It's an attempt to know what we don't know, which is, "What will tomorrow hold?"...

General - God's Purpose For Your Life...

Nick Vujicic tells us that God has a plan for our lives. What is that? Wouldn’t it be nice if God could tell us exactly what His plan for us is every day? It would be great if in our backyard we had a burning bush that we could visit to hear from God or maybe God could write our future in the clouds and we could just look up and see what to do next. I wouldn't even mind if an angel would deliver some specific message from time to time. Wouldn’t that be great? I think we all struggle trying to decipher God's plan and purposes for us. Should we look for another job? Should we move? Should we have children? Should I date this person? It would be very helpful if God wrote all the answers in a book and handed that to us so we could just follow His plan step by step, but maybe you have noticed that God doesn't work that way. We need to trust that God is good, and He will lead us in the right direction. When we can't see what tomorrow holds, we can still be sure of this: that God will work it all out. I don't know what my future holds, but I know who holds my future! The Bible may not give us specific individual aspects about God's plan for us, but Scripture does tell us, however, how plainly God's will is....

General - Forgiveness...

Nick Vujicic knows what it means to be forgiven and he shows how to experience being forgiven, forgiving others, and forgiving yourself. It is impossible to give away something you’ve never had. What I mean is this. You cannot forgive anyone until you have accepted forgiveness for yourself. Sure, you could try to give something you’ve never had, but if you’ve never experienced forgiveness in your life how could you possibly offer forgiveness to someone else? So let me tell you the 3 most wonderful, freeing and incredible words in the English language: “You are forgiven.”...

General - Faith...

Nick Vujicic defines, explains, and identifies the meaning of faith and how to believe in Jesus Christ. I'm sure that you've heard it more than once, "Do you believe?” With just a little more faith? You've got to have faith, faith, faith! I have heard people talk about faith as if faith itself is some commodity you can possess. It doesn't matter what you believe as long as you believe it, right? I say, "Wrong." Faith is trust, belief, confidence, but faith doesn't exist apart from an object. What I mean is this: You have to believe in something. You have to trust someone. You need faith in something. Faith needs an object. So what is faith in, for, or attached to? In Hebrews, 11:1, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." God's definition of faith is the belief in those things that we cannot see but trust to be true. It's not enough to simply have faith. We have faith in God, the Creator, Savior, and a Heavenly Father we cannot see, but are confident is true and good and real!...

Seniors - Who Is Jesus?...

Nick Vujicic answers your questions. Who is Jesus? Why is He the only way? How can I find out more about Jesus? How is Jesus different from other prophets and other religions?...

Seniors - Loneliness...

Nick Vujicic clarifies how lonely people are at any age. When you are alone, what comforting words bring you hope? God runs to us in times of loneliness. He wraps us in his arms and promises. I will never leave you alone. I am always with you. Don't be scared in those moments when the loneliness seems overwhelming. God is not far away. Talk to him through prayer. Hear His voice through the Bible. Take moments to be in His presence every day, and be strengthened in the promise that our God is with us! We do not have to live in loneliness any longer because God is by our side. The creator who created you also knows you and loves you and walks with you, so when the loneliness shows up, remember the God who is always there....

Seniors - How to Hear God's Voice...

God speaks to us through the very thing that He has been using to talk with His people for centuries: Scripture. In the Bible we can hear for ourselves the still, strong voice of God today, but that may require turning down the volume on the other noises so that we can hear clearly. So spend some time this week turning off the noises around you and focusing on the Bible and hearing what the Lord wants to say to you. In those quiet moments speak back to God through prayer. Have a conversation away from the hustle and bustle of our noisy lives and have a conversation with the Creator. Turn down the noise and turn up the volume on God's Word. He's ready to speak to you today you....

Seniors - God's Purpose for Your Life...

Nick Vujicic encourages seasoned seniors. What is a good metaphor that describes your life? Maybe a journey? Perhaps a book with many chapters? Have you ever considered that your life is like a tree? Stay with me for a second. It might seem strange to think of your life as a tree, but that is exactly how the Bible describes it. “The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,” says Psalm 92. “He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.” I don't know if you know much about trees in the Middle East but palm trees grow exceptionally well in that part of the world. Given the right conditions, a palm tree can grow six feet per year, but even with that type of progress, it takes many years for a palm tree to reach its full maturity, and the cedars of Lebanon, well, they grow as tall as 130 feet, and these Middle-Eastern cedars are known to be aromatic, durable, and useful for any type of construction. Isn’t it interesting that when the writer of Psalms was thinking about the lives God's people led, He compared them to palm and cedar trees. Psalm 92 makes me think that God values and prizes growth over a long span of years. Those people and strong trees illustrate how God's plan and purpose are to take a small seed, and over time, to develop it into a majestic tree full of life and blessing, but the verse goes on. “Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age. They shall be fresh and flourishing.”...

Teens - How To Read The Bible...

Nick Vujicic helps teens learn why and how to read the Bible. Jesus said, “Man shall not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Wow! Just like I need to eat every day to live, I need to hear God's Word every day in order to thrive and feed my spirit. Jesus said in order to live—I mean really live—we have to be feasting regularly on two things: food and God's Word....

Teens - Loneliness...

Nick Vujicic helps teens confront the issues of loneliness. One of my friends has a son. His son has autism, and it is difficult for him to a part of social situations. He doesn't have all the tools to be part of a conversation or to interact with other students. On the outside he looks just like us, but on the inside, his brain works differently. His dad told me that every day after school, he asked his son, "Hey, buddie, how was school today? Who did you sit with at lunch?" Every day his son would say, "I didn't sit with anyone. I ate lunch alone." Alone and lonely....

Teens - God's Purpose for Your Life...

Nick Vujicic helps teens find God’s purpose for your life. Why are you here? Who am I? Have you wondered what God's plan is for you? Well I know what it is! Are you ready to hear it? Okay! Are you ready to hear it? Here’s God's plan and purpose for you. “For this is the will of God: your sanctification.” Wait a second! I thought God's plan and purpose for us would be more complicated, didn’t you? There is no mention in this verse about what college I should go to, where to spend my money, who I should date. Shouldn’t God's plan for my life be a little bit more detailed?...

Teens - Forgiveness...

Nick Vujicic helps teens work through forgiving themselves and others by accepting God’s forgiveness. God gave us what we did not deserve. We couldn't pay our debt of sin, yet God said, “Hey, I forgive it all and you are free. Yet like the friends of Jesus who are fighting, we wonder, “Should I forgive this guy or girl who hurts me or bullies me?” God forgave us 250 million dollars’ worth of sins. God continues to give us love, forgiveness, and blessing. He keeps giving us more grace every day, so if we have been given grace, shouldn't we also give the same grace to others? If God forgave our sins, can we forgive others when they sin against us? Well, that is grace. If God gave it to you, and He has given it to someone else, pass on the grace this week and forgive, just like God forgave you so you can be free, indeed!...

Kids - Who Is Jesus?...

Nick Vujicic talks to children about who Jesus is. Hi, I'm looking for Someone. Maybe you know who He is? I was told I could find Him in this book here. Could you help me? The Guy I'm looking for is called Jesus. Ok, I guess Jesus isn't actually in the Book itself, but I think He would be way too big to even fit in there anyway. I think when people say Jesus is in the Bible, what they actually mean is the Bible tells us what Jesus is like and who He is. Here is what I have discovered about Jesus from the Bible, and it is super amazing! First, the Bible says that an angel told Jesus' mom, Mary, that she was going to have a baby. Mary was very surprised because she wasn't planning on having a baby! A little while later, Mary and her husband Joseph were going to a town called Bethlehem. When they got to town, Jesus was born, but not in a hospital or even a hotel room. No. Jesus was born in a stable surrounding by farm animals and hay. When Jesus was born, a whole army of angels appeared to some shepherds and said, "Go see this new baby that was born. He is the King, the King of kings, and He is going to rescue all people from their sins."...

Kids - How To Read The Bible...

Nick Vujicic reminds children that the Bible is full of amazing stories! I like reading books, but have you ever tried to read 66 books at one time? no way! Neither have I. Today I want to talk to you about a special book. It is my favorite book of all time, but really it's actually 66 books all combined into one great read. Do you know what book I'm talking about? The B-I-B-L-E, yes that's the book for me! You guessed it. It’s the Bible. The first book in the Bible is Genesis and the last book is called Revelation. In between is the most amazing collection of history, action, adventure, suspense, drama! There are tales of giants and warriors, thrilling rescues, and daring feats of strength, tragic deaths, and awesome resurrections! You know what? In the Bible you can read about brave women like Ruth, Esther, and Mary. You can read about strong men like Daniel, David and Peter, Sampson. The Bible tells us about pastors swallowed by fish, donkeys who talk, frogs who invaded the country, and other crazy stories! You can even find wise sayings and good advice in the Bible....

Kids - God's Plan For Your Life...

Nick Vujicic reminds children that God created each one for a reason. Can I tell you a secret? You are a masterpiece! That's right, you are a special unique, beautiful piece of art that is truly amazing. You are a masterpiece created by God, and God is the best artist. God only makes awesome and wonderful things. and that is you Go. How do I know that you're a masterpiece? Because the Bible says in the book of Ephesians, “We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.” Ephesians 2:10. Workmanship is another word for a beautiful piece of art. With love and care, God put his work into making you the way you are exactly. God chose the color of your hair, the shape of your feet, the number of freckles on your shoulders—everything about you. God made you special! You are His great work of art! Masterpieces are created to be seen and shared. You don't make something awesome and then hide it away in a closet. No, you want everyone to see it. That's why the Bible says we are masterpieces created for good works....
